So I've finally got my own site set up, hopefully an online shop is soon to follow.

Of course I will still be using DA, but I plan to share a lot more about my photos, equipment, and processes on my blog, it's a lot more personal.

My DA shop will stay open for print purchases too but once I get my own online shop set up, I will be selling framed and mounted prints as well as other handmade goodies that I have made with my photos.

I haven't been active here for a while, it's been over 2 years since I last uploaded a photo.
I hear I'm not the only one. I've noticed that a lot of artists and groups that I used to follow are less active, or not around anymore at all.

Something possessed me to log in and visit the old stomping grounds a few days ago, I don't know what it was, but I'm glad I did. I saw my old page, the old photo of me under deviantID, and the little widget at the top of my page that says "Deviant for 8 years".
8 years.
Wow.
I could hardly believe it had been that long since I first started uploading my art and photos here.
There were a few times that I had considered just deactivating this account.....but how could I? Not now, after coming back and seeing the old gallery, and all the comments from everyone.

I think this is a great opportunity to come back and update my gallery and connect with new people and groups. Even though I tend to spend my time sharing my photography on sites like Redbubble or 500px, I don't want to forget about DA. Afterall, this is where it all started.

So what I wanted to know was,
Who is still using DA? and do you share your work anywhere else?

Ok, so I haven't written a new journal in quite some time. I used to update every week, or every 2 weeks if I was busy. I had been sick for a while and that totally knocked me off my feet and by the time I got feeling better I had so much piled up to take care of that my poor little DA account got neglected. And then there was school, and then there was work.....haha.

Anyways, I've been working on some things while I've been a bit less active with this account. I will probably be setting up a second account for these other things because I would like for this page to feature just my photography. I'll still be using this account though, I'll just have another place to keep my crafts.

And, if you haven't noticed, my subscription has expired. You should buy some prints so I can get the sub back and keep adding new features
